2For the AI-powered tools, pick a model once in API settings: the free built-in browser AI (no key, runs on your device), your own OpenAI-compatible key, or local Ollama / LM Studio for fully offline use.
3Paste your material, run, watch results stream in, and export — Markdown, Word (.docx), CSV, or BibTeX. Sign in (optional) to save papers to My Library and get recommendations.
Privacy
Private by design
No ad trackers, no third-party analytics. Your API key and drafts live only in this browser's local storage, and documents you format are parsed entirely in-browser. Network traffic goes only to the LLM endpoint you configure, the free OpenAlex and Crossref scholarly indexes, and — for statistics — official sources like the World Bank via our caching proxy (public query parameters only, never your content).
